	What kind of students do you have?
	どんな生徒さんを担当していますか？

Now my students are mainly young to middle aged professionals, working for foreign owned companies that need English at work. I’ve taught students from a wide background, including children and business men.

現在は主に、外資系などの英語が必要な仕事を持つ20代～40代位の会社員を多く指導しています。これまでに子供やビジネスマン、幅広いバックグラウンドの生徒を教えた経験があります。

	What kind of materials do you use in class?
	レッスンではどんな教材を使用していますか？

Sometimes I will prepare my own material if the student has a special
request, eg up coming trip or meeting/presentation. But I generally like to use a text book, because then there is a similar format for each lesson, and home study is more possible. Cambridge Books are, in my opinion the best.

生徒からリクエストがあれば、例えば旅行やミーティング、プレゼンテーションなど自分でオリジナルのプリントなどを作ります。基本的にはテキストを使用することが多いです。テキストでは毎回決まったパターンで習うことができ、また自宅学習もしやすくなっています。個人的にはケンブリッジ出版のものがお勧めです。

	Where are you from?
	出身はどちらですか？

A town called Romford. It’s about 25 min. from the central London like Kokubunji is to Shinjuku.

イギリスのロムフォードという町から来ました。ロムフォードはロンドンの中心地から25分くらい離れた場所にあり、ちょうど新宿から（私が今住んでいる）国分寺と同じような距離にあります。

	What do you like to do in your free time?
	フリータイムに何をする事が好きですか？

I Practice Judo, and hang out with my friends and learn more about Japan and its culture.

	Who’s your favorite Japanese person?
	好きな日本の有名人は誰ですか？

I like judo so I guess Satoshi Iishi would be good, and I have met him. He knows too much about Judo for me to understand. Astro Boy is really cool, but I’m not sure he counts as a person.

柔道が好きなので、石井慧さんです。実際に会ったことがありますが、彼は柔道に関して自分の知識をはるかに超えていました。人間としてカウントするかわからないけど、鉄腕アトムもスゴクかっこいいですね。

	What do you miss the most of your home?
	イギリスの一番懐かしく思う物は？

Food, and cheaper good tea. I can buy PG Tips (British tea) here, but it is expensive.

食べ物とお茶です。イギリスのお茶(PG Tips)は日本でも買うことができますが割高です。

Stay committed, ask questions and never ever be too shy to use something you have heard or have been taught. If you don’t use it you will lose it. When you are around English have a note book, and take notes. Then ask your teacher what it all means, then...USE IT, USE IT, USE IT

学習に専念することです。まず教わったことや聞いた事を実践するようにして、絶対に恥ずかしがってはダメ。英語は使わないと、忘れてしまう物だから、英語環境にいる時はノートを持ってメモをするようにしよう。わからない事は先生に聞いて、そしてひたすら使うことです！
