	What kind of students have you taught?
	今までどんな生徒さんに教えてきましたか？

I have taught English to everyone; businessmen, and businesswomen - university student, retired people, housewives and young children. I have even worked at an Elementary School and Junior High School in Tokyo. I have worked with Japanese government employees - ministry of foreign affairs and Japanese consulate general of Japan in Vancouver Canada. I have taught group lessons at Hospitals in Japan also.

会社員、大学生、仕事を引退した人たち、主婦、子供たちなど幅広い生徒さんを教えてきました。国内の小・中・高校、それから外務省や医療機関でのグループレッスン、またカナダの日本領事館でも働いた経験があります。

	What kind of materials do you use in class?
	レッスンではどんな教材を使用していますか？

This depends on the students’ goals, how much free time they have to study and their English level. Every student needs to study English differently from another person.　If they want to study business English for example, we can use; The newspaper, internet articles, books and Business Journals.

生徒の学習目的やレベル、どのくらい費やす時間があるかによって一人ひとり違った学習方法が必要だと思います。例えばビジネス英語なら、新聞やインターネットから引用した記事、本やビジネスジャーナルなどが使えます。

	What do you like to do in your free time?
	フリータイムに何をする事が好きですか？

I play a variety of sports. I also enjoy escaping to silent green forests.

いろんなスポーツをします。それから緑の沢山ある静かな場所へ行くことも好きです。

Japan & Culture　【日本と文化】

	What’s your favorite Japanese city?
	日本の好きな街はどこですか？

Arashiyama and Hida-takayama. These small towns are very green with many barns and houses similar to my hometown in Canada.

嵐山と飛騨高山です。この二つの場所は緑がとても多く、カナダにある私のホームタウンと良く似た小川や家などが沢山あります。

	What’s your favorite Japanese food?
	好きな日本食は何ですか？

My favourite Japanese foods are Nato, Umeboshi and Unagi. I love ume-shu also.

好きな日本食は納豆と梅干しとウナギです。梅酒も好きです。

I will help you find a good and interesting way to study English. There are so many ways to study English - using the internet, tape recorder, books, pod-casts, CD's DVD's, magazines etc. They are all useful. We can work together to make learning English fun! Also, please feel free to ask me anything about Canadian or Western culture.

楽しくて良い学習方法を見つけられるようにお手伝いします。インターネットやテープレコーダー、本、ポッドキャスト、ＣＤ、ＤＶＤ、雑誌などいろいろな物を使う方法があります。これらの手段はとても役に立ちます。一緒に楽しんで学習しましょう。カナダのこと、海外の文化のことなど何でも遠慮せずに聞いて下さいね。
